Reference Sources

This article provides tons of information on what happened when the USA Patriot Act was signed and the critiques that were given after it was viewed that the Act was questionable.  Most critiques have come from both sides of the spectrum and to this day  debated.  This article will be helpful to my blog because it explains the process of the Act and gives us insight on why the Act is so controversial.

This article talks about power and how much power the president gained after 9/11. It gives simple information on going to war and military court hearings judging whether or not someone should be interrogated. Lastly, the article touches on interrogations, surveillance, and homeland security. This will provide my blog with more solid information on what the president gained and contracted during 9/11 and forming the US Patriot Act.

3.) Culture Wars: An Encyclopedia of Issues, Viewpoints, and Voices. USA Patriot Act. Credo References.

This article gives viewpoints and clear information on what the USA Patriot Act does to people’s rights.  It shares the power of government and all the things government has access to under the Act.  It also shares a little information on the American Civil Liberties Union and why they are opposed to the act.  This article will be helpful to my blog providing more viewpoints to why the USA Patriot Act should be questioned.
